DIY Beauty, Natural Skincare, Lip Care

Tired of dry lips?

Store-bought lip balms often contain harsh ingredients and don’t last. This easy DIY recipe will change that! With just 4 natural ingredients, you can make a nourishing, long-lasting lip balm right at home.

What You’ll Need

2 tablespoons shea butter

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 tablespoon beeswax

5–10 drops essential oil (like peppermint or lavender)

Lip balm containers or small jars

Double boiler or a heat-safe bowl over a pot.

How to Make It.

Step 1: Melt your ingredients

Add shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax to your double boiler. Stir gently over low heat until fully melted.

Step 2: Add essential oil

Remove from heat and stir in your favorite essential oil.

Step 3: Pour and set

Pour the mixture into your lip balm containers. Let cool at room temperature for 1–2 hours.

Step 4: Apply and enjoy!

Your natural lip balm is ready—smooth, moisturizing, and chemical-free.

Bonus Tips

Want tinted balm? Add a pinch of beetroot powder.

Prefer vegan? Use candelilla wax instead of beeswax.

Make a batch and gift them to friends!
